We Want Medicare For All
PROJECT DATE 2020 launch
The We Want Medicare For All website is the home to downloadable versions of all the graphics and memes created by my co-creator and me for @medicare4all on Instagram, specially-designed merch and gifts, and a comprehensive guide to who supports Medicare For All in the United States Senate and House of Representatives.
I designed all elements of the website and built it in WordPress in a responsive format that is easily viewed on any device.
Additionally, I did all the research and data organization for the “Check Your Reps” section, looking into all 541 congress people and inputting their stances into a robust database that is then uploaded to wewantm4a.com and translated to individual pages and state archives.
I started instagram account @medicare4all with Amelie Cherlin to advocate for single-payer healthcare legislation in the United States. We take a new angle on the endeavor that is at turns fun, serious, informative, hilarious, and anything in between. Celebrating 100 followers in October 2019, we have since grown the account tenfold to over 1,000 followers. Employing familiarity with breaking political news, healthcare policy, and the overall social media landscape, we roll out graphics on a regular and strategic basis to connect with other Medicare For All advocates.
